Nature News

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the guinea pigs my host mom owns having a new batch of babies! The little guinea pigs were so cute and they were making the cutest squeaking noises. My host mom and I had to move the cages around so we could fit all the new guinea pigs nicely. My host mom has around 30 guinea pigs and we just welcomed four more.

Other Nature News from this week:

Cajamarca city is the capital of the region Cajamarca. The city sits in a lower valley compared to all the towns surrounding it in the mountains. To get to the city, you must drive down windy roads next to the mountainside. During the rainy seasons, or when a terrible storm blows through, you have to watch for huaicos.
