Hi, my name is Pierre! I currently study abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, United Kingdom. There is so much to do in the city of Edinburgh. I enjoy academics, arts, and sports. Through living in this city, I have the opportunity to meet people from around the world!
My days begin with a quip trip to the gym, a short trek to Holyrood Park, and then to school, where I engage some of the finest minds to learn contemporary theories in various subjects. I enjoy my lunches in the park and work tirelessly in the library. I enjoy the architectural history, ideas and events that led to the development of the city. Some historic landmarks and buildings are famed in world history.
I never thought, as a disabled veteran, I would ever come here and study. My greatest challenge is negotiating my disabilities. Although I look fit and strong, I suffer from chronic pain, mobility, and other health issues. I do not let it stop me, nor does my amazing university; they support me in all my health needs. They make me feel like I belong somewhere in the world. Without them, my dream of traveling, learning, creating art, and meeting people from around the world would not be possible. I look forward to meeting you all!
