On Tuesdays I tutor the daughter of one of the teachers at my school. We play games and chat in English. Afterwards, I usually meet up with some of my friends to practice Spanish. We have discussions, listen to music, and play games in Spanish.
On Wednesdays I have a Spanish culture class at night. In this class, we go to art exhibitions, read works in Spanish, go to the theater, and meet Riojan writers and artists. It’s a great way to practice my Spanish and learn more about art.
Thursdays are my favorite day! I finish school early and meet with my roommates for lunch at our favorite restaurant. We always eat a Spanish tortilla with spicy sauce and have coffee. It’s so yummy! In the evening I have a ceramics class. I’ve never tried an activity like this, so I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone. Now I love ceramics!
Las noches
Por las noches paso tiempo con mis compañeras de piso. Después de cenar preparo algunas cosas para las clases que tengo el próximo día. Cocino varias cosas para la cena; me encanta cocinar. Y por fin me acuesto a las 11 de la noche.
At night I spend time with my roommates. After dinner, I prepare materials for my classes the next day. I cook different things for dinner; I love to cook. And finally, I go to bed at 11pm.
Los fines de semana (viernes, sábado y domingo)
Los fines de semana siempre son diferentes. A veces viajo a una ciudad o región nueva de España.
