Hola! My name is Prenya Harikrishnan. I am 22 years old and I am from Ashburn, Virginia. Growing up in Virginia, I loved doing anything outdoorsy, such as hiking, running, and biking. I went to Virginia Tech for college and majored in Clinical Neuroscience and Spanish with a minor in Public Health. My goal is to be a doctor! You may not realize it, but education is a huge part of medicine! Doctors are always learning and teaching their patients. Eager to improve my language and education skills, I applied for and was fortunate to receive a U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Grant to teach English in La Rioja, Spain. Currently, I am living in Logroño (a city in the La Rioja region of Spain). I am teaching English and culture at a secondary school while also exploring Spain! I am excited to share my adventures with you all and cannot wait to hear about your journeys through the school year!
