Hello! My name is Quincy Yangh and I am a junior at Gustavus Adolphus College, majoring in geography. I was born here in the United States, but my parents were born in Laos. I am a proud Hmong-American, first-generation college student. Growing up in Minnesota, I enjoyed the cold winters, the communities and the food.
My passions lie in international migration, political geography and climate/environmental justice. These passions ultimately inspired me to participate in a study abroad program in Nepal and India. I am looking forward to the hands-on approach to education. You can expect this journey to be filled with exciting and challenging new experiences.
I cannot wait to see where this virtual exchange experience will take us!
