This week was a very welcome sunny week. Last week we had a lot of rain and thunderstorms, which I have never seen before in Israel. I've been learning to sail while I'm here, and because the weather was bad we couldn't go out on the water due to the super strong winds!
This week, because I was only in Tel Aviv and not in a National Park, I just saw some cats and dogs walking around the city as well as some birds. I didn't see any very unusual desert wildlife like I've seen in the past.
I watched lots of lightning crack across the sky from the window that leads to the balcony in my apartment. The howling winds and crashing thunder didn't feel like Israel at all, because Israel is typically very dry. It was really beautiful to watch.
