Traveler Bio

Здравствуйте (Hello)! My name is Rachel Rochford. I am 20 years old, and I am from Waterford, Michigan. Growing up, I always loved swimming in the lakes, hiking, and exploring new places with friends. Some of my current hobbies include reading, painting, and traveling to new places! I am currently a sophomore at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

I am an International Politics major, minoring in Justice and Peace Studies, and pursuing a certificate in Diplomatic Studies. I also study Russian at Georgetown, and this semester, I will be studying Russian at Al-Farabi National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. All of my courses will be in Russian. I am so excited to be living in Almaty this semester and to share about it with all of you! I look forward to getting to know you throughout the semester!
