Traveler Bio

Greetings! My name is Reece Doss, and I am 23 years old. I am currently studying Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). I study environmental sciences to put my passion and care for the environment, and the creatures on it, into action.

I applied to do a semester exchange at Sant'Anna Institute in Italy through the study abroad office at the University of Michigan. I chose my specific abroad program because it is located in Sorrento, Italy which is along the Amalfi Coast. I am also a teaching assistant for an oceanography class at the University of Michigan, so I can't wait to learn more about the marine life near Sorrento in the Mediterranean Sea.

I grew up and went to Chelsea Schools just like you are now! I always wanted to study abroad, and I am so excited to finally make that dream come true! Come along with me on my journey abroad to Italy, and maybe by the end of it, you too will choose to study abroad one day!
