The weather this week was hot and humid. Almost every day, the temperature is in the high 80s or low 90s.
The only animals that I see on a regular basis are the stray cats and dogs that roam the streets looking for food. Some people also have pet birds. Many Taiwanese people like to have birds so they can listen to their bird songs.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the morning sun rising over the rice paddies on my walk to school. It was stunningly beautiful to witness. Do you know what a rice paddy is?
Occasionally, there are days with a lot of wind, since we are close to the ocean. I love those days because they are much cooler!
