Finalement (finally), I want to spend more time learning about social and cultural issues in Lyon. In the coming weeks, I will try to answer the question of how do the Lyonnais people spend their free time? Similarly, what is most important to them? I had the opportunity to begin to answer this question last weekend when I visited the Musée des Confluences (Museum of Confluence [Confluence is a more modern neighborhood in Lyon]). There, I saw exhibitions exemplifiying unity across world-wide communities and attempts at sharing cultures across boarders. I believe the inhabitants of Lyon want to learn more about the world around them and learn from others as much as possible.
