Hello! My name is Salima, I'm 22 years old, and I am from the Washington D.C. area. I live with my family and little fluffy dog, Bentley, who definitely runs the house. I attended and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in government and politics. As a university student, I had the opporutnity to virtually study abroad in India. A group of my classmates and I worked to develop a program that will help economically empower Muslim women in the region. I am so excited to share more about my experiences in India with you!
