Traveler Bio

Bonjour (Hello)! My name is Sarah West and I am studying abroad in Montpellier, France this fall. I am 19 years old and I grew up in Concord, New Hampshire, although I have spent several years of my life overseas in various countries. Having grown up in New England, I am an avid hiker and I love the outdoors. I am a junior and I attend Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts where I study political science and French, and I am on the cross country and track and field teams. My love of the French language and interest in immersing myself in French culture led me to study abroad in southern France this fall. Through my program, I will be taking classes at the local French university in Montpellier. This experience will help me become a stronger French speaker and writer. I am eager to share my adventures with you all and I look forward to getting to know you!
