Many of the students like to go home and relax by watching some T.V., playing video games or playing at the local soccer pitch. Some of the students have sports clubs that they go to in the afternoons, like a soccer club or the swimming pool.
Again, this depends on the students, but I asked three students this question and they all either said a football player from the local Real Oviedo or Athletic Sporting Gijón team, a rapper that is from Asturias named Johnny Fontane, and the famous Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso. The students are very proud of their region and those who are from this area as it brings attention to this area that oftentimes goes unnoticed when it comes to Spain as a whole.
Many students will say that they love listening to Pop music such as Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 and Selena Gomez. They also love the many Spanish-language popular artists such as Aitiana, Pablo Alboran and Rosalia.
There were a lot of different answers, ranging from doctor to teacher to professional soccer player. A few of my students have mentioned that they would love to be a nurse when they grow up, or a singer. It all depends on the students' grades and English level, as some have had to tell me their dream job in Spanish because they didn't know the English name of the job.
