I help meet this need by volunteering for an hour and a half every Friday afternoon during the English language hours for the program. Being able to speak with a native English speaker really helps the students as they navigate learning a new language. The students (both in elementary and high school) all love having time with me because I help with their grammar exercises and pronunciation. I also provide them the space to practice their English and improve it as they continue learning. I love this position and plan on continuing for the rest of the time that I am here.
