Traveler Bio

Hello, my name is Sari Dailey and I'm studying Economics, Chinese, and American Sign Language (ASL) at the University of North Florida (UNF). I am 21 years old and am originally from Connecticut. After graduating from community college in CT, I was led to move to Jacksonville, FL to attend UNF due to my high interest in ASL and having the opportunity, once I graduate, to gain more experience in learning at St. Augustine, home of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. When I first began attending UNF, I struggled with finding the best major and minor combination to fit both my personal and academic interests. I ended up choosing to major in Economics and minor in Chinese and ASL. With this, I'll be able to learn more about macro and microeconomics all while expanding my knowledge of languages and cultures across the world.

As you can see, I didn't know what exactly I wanted to do and it's evident that I love to explore different things and am not worried about having 100% of my plan set in stone. I want to encourage, share, and spread that same mentality with you all and dispel any worries you have about the future. You can never be certain about what you'll be doing and where you'll be in the future but making the right decisions and having confidence in yourself will be more than enough to achieve your dreams and bring you even further than you could ever imagine.
