Hey, I'm Scott! I'm from Wisconsin, you might not have been there before, but if you like cheese then you've definitely tasted something from Wisconsin.
When I was in high school, I decided to take Chinese just for fun. It was the first year my high school offered a Chinese class, and it was only me and two other kids in my class. I didn't think that it would be that important of a decision, but fast forward six years, and I'm STILL learning more Chinese!
I'm a sophomore at Brigham Young University, and majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Chinese to further expand my Chinese-language speaking skills! It's a really hard and complicated language sometimes, but it's so much fun to speak and the culture around it is awesome! To get better at the language, I've decided to go to Taiwan to speak it more. To get there from the United States, it's a 24-hour flight over the ocean! When I'm there, I hope to make a lot more friends and understand a lot more about the culture.
