I came to Heidelberg in September, and soon I will be leaving in July! These last ten months, I have met wonderful people from different parts of the world, who have opened up my view of life. I also got to travel to new places in Germany as well as in nearby countries like: the Netherlands, Czechia, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, and France. I also had many challenges! It is difficult to be far away from my friends and family and live somewhere where the language and culture are different from what I have been used to before. I definitely was not prepared for how cold the winter was!
I hope that you enjoyed my articles and photographs—I enjoyed our video calls! I loved all of the questions you asked about outer space. Talking with you made me remember how curious I was about the world and science when I was younger. I wish you the best in all your future adventures and whatever you decide to be when you grow up. Maybe some of you will even study black holes and stars!
I have never learned or grown so much as a person, in a short time, as I did this year. I feel smarter and braver. I am, however, looking forward to going back home and spending time with my parents and sisters. I cannot believe this journey is almost over! Thank you so much for being here with me!
