Salut! Hello!
My name is Shanti Abilhomme, and I am 20 years old! I’m from the sunshine state of Florida! There’s a reason Florida got its nickname and it’s because of its abundance of sunny weather. I grew up going to the beach every weekend and enjoying the parks in my hometowns, Pembroke Pines and Weston! My favorite beach is Hollywood Beach because of its long boardwalk and busy shops. Now some of my favorite ways to pass the time are reading fiction books, exercising at the gym, and watching my favorite shows.
I am in my third year at Nova Southeastern University, where I am studying business management and finance. I decided to study abroad in Paris, France because it is one of the countries I’ve dreamed of traveling to since I was a little kid. I love the history and culture, as well as the pastries among other things in France. I am a recipient of the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship, and with its help, I can focus on my school work and enjoy my time in France. I can’t wait to explore the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and all of the boulangerie (bakeries)!
Stay tuned to hear about my adventures in France! Au Revoir! Goodbye!
