Shalom (Hello)! My name is Sidney, and I’m from Indianapolis, Indiana, a city right in the middle of the United States. I went to college at Indiana University, where I double majored in Political Science (which is the study of how governments work) and History (the study of how the world and people have changed over time). I’ve always been curious about how decisions are made and how countries around the world interact with each other.

While I was in college, I joined student government, which means I helped plan events and shared student ideas with leaders at the school. I also spent a lot of time volunteering in the community. I especially enjoyed helping at local events and working with younger students. It made me feel like I was making a difference.

After I graduated from university, I went to graduate school at Johns Hopkins University to study International Affairs. That’s a subject where we look at how countries work together, solve problems and sometimes disagree. During this time, I had the chance to live in Italy for a whole year while studying. It was my first time living so far from home!
