Traveler Bio

Shalom (Hello), everyone! My name is Sidney Fulford, and I’m so excited to meet you! I’m 25 years old and grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, which is right in the middle of the United States. In high school, I played the saxophone in the marching band. After, I went to Indiana University, where I studied Political Science and History. That means I learned how governments work and how countries have changed over time. While in college, I also got involved in student government and loved doing volunteer work in the community.

After college, I earned a master’s degree in international affairs from Johns Hopkins University and lived in Italy for a year while studying. During my studies, I noticed that technology was becoming super important in global politics. So, I applied for a Fulbright Scholarship, which is now helping me study cyber politics at Tel Aviv University in Israel.

Want to learn how you could be a Fulbrighter like me? The Fulbright Program is the United States government's flagship international exchange program.
