Take a Walk and Smell the Flowers!

Photos

To start, a sniff and a welcoming bark from the neighborhood pups always helps me wake up in the morning
Next, this non-native (but beautiful) lily peeps out from the fence to greet me!
This delicate flower, Flor de Mayo, is so perfumed, I can smell its tree from two blocks away!
The Flor de Mayo falls right on top of my favorite car in the city (the yellow theme continues!)
Bright pink, white and purple bougainvilleas line the streets, the flower hanging from bushes like never-ending confetti
Nothing gets me more excited than a mystery plant or animal— updates on this star-flower-tree to come! (It is the Jujube plant, which has cool star-shaped flowers as well as tropical fruits)
Finally, we have arrived... class awaits!
The Ciricote, or K'oopte' in Maya, is a tree native to México and known for its beautiful flowers and tasty fruit
