Kids' Lives in Budapest

I go to school with some of my other classmates. We take the metro to school every morning. 

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at my school. I really love Nutella and banana sandwiches. 

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Hungarian at home. Hello in Hungarian is "Szia!"

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Common names for kids at my school are Attila, Agi, Edit, Zsofi, Bence, Etel, Bianka, Borsi, Balazs, David, Eva, and Tamas. 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study Hungarian, grammar and literature, music, art, gym, math, and environmental studies. Next year, I will start history. 

What is your homework like?:

My homework is not too hard. I usually have one or two hours every night. 

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I usually go home and stay with my family. Sometimes I go out with my friends in my neighborhood to play football (soccer) or basketball. 

Who is your favorite famous person?:

My favorite famous person is Messi, the soccer player. 

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I listen to some Hungarian music, but mostly American music, like Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5. 

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I want to be a football (soccer) player when I grow up.
