Ni Hao! Hello!
My name is Stanley Clark, but you can call me Stan. I am 23 years old and grew up in a small town in New Jersey called Maplewood. I love to play the piano, run, read and hang out with my friends. I went to college in New Jersey at Rider University. In school, I loved to study politics, philosophy and different cultures. During my senior year, I had the opportunity to study abroad in England at Edge Hill University. At the school, students told me wonderful stories about where they grew up, their parents and how they viewed England. I learned a lot about England through conversations with fellow students.
This year I will be teaching English at Northeastern University in a fantastic city called Shenyang. I can't wait to start teaching and to meet my students. I have no doubt that I will learn just as much from them as they learn from me before the year is up, and that we will all learn a tremendous amount together! Here's to a year of discovery, a year of adventure and a year of understanding. Thanks again for going on this journey with me! Let's go!
