There are many ancient temples here with cool sculptures and artistry on the walls. Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu, the shogun of Japan in the 1600s, is buried here at the highest point (the climb up felt like it took forever!).
It's one thing to learn Japanes history through books and lectures, but getting to visit the places really brings it all to life!
