This week I traveled 2,415 miles from Constanta to Berlin and back. While in Berlin, I usually walked around 5 miles per day!
I have traveled tens of thousands of miles on this journey so far!
I traveled around Berlin using the train, the underground metro, the bus and my own two feet. One thing I loved about Berlin was how accessible the public transportation is. A metro stop or bus station is never more than a ten minute walk away, so it was very easy for me to get around, despite Berlin being a geographically diverse city.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the East Side Gallery, which is an outdoor gallery of murals that were painted on a remnant of the Berlin Wall. There are 105 different murals painted by artists from all over the world, and the gallery serves as a monument to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
