The main language spoken in Madrid is Español (Spanish). A lot of people also speak English. I love speaking Spanish with the locals!
Spain uses colorful money called Euros. 1 euro is about $1.13 US dollars.
A bottle of water is only about 2 euros, but luckily you can drink the tap water in Spain.
The best meal I had this week was at a restaurant called Rosi La Loca. This restaraunt is known for serving really unique foods with cool presentations. I ordered barata cheese. The waitress used a siringe to stuff it with pesto. I also ordered tuna tataki, which is lightly seared tuna, and it was served in a mini steaming boat.
This week, my friends and I heard a lot of reggaeton music, which is rapping and singing in Spanish. It is very popular in many Spanish-speaking countries.
