Because I am on Spring Break, I traveled to a few different places this week. I started off in Thessaloniki, Greece to attend the Gilman Scholar's Career Summit in which I met and networked with officers from the U.S. department of state, the regional government, international corporations, and the U.S. embassy of Greece. Then, I met with six of my friends in Mallorca, which is an island off the coast of Spain, where we relaxed on the beach and soaked up the sun. From Mallorca, we travelled to Nice in Southern France. Nice is in the French Riviera, so we have enjoyed our time exploring the city and the ports.
The farthest I have travlled on this journey is Greece. Outside of Spain, I have traveled to Interlaken (Switzerland), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Lisbon (Portugal), Thessaloniki (Greece) and Nice (France). Inside of Spain, I have been able to travel to many cities including Seville, Toledo, Granada, Barcelona, Mallorca, Bilbao, and San Sebastian. I have a lot more travel plans and I cannot wait to share them with you!
