The weather this week was great! It’s been mostly sunny and not very windy which has been a nice change from the weeks prior. Locals have said that it’s been unusually rainy lately and it’s supposed to rain more next week, but I hope the forecasts change so that we can enjoy more sunny days!
I see lots of pigeons every day! There’s a ton of them near Plaça Catalunya which is an area in the middle of the city that is always busy. I pass by this spot everyday on my way to and from classes. Because Barcelona is a coastal city, I also see seagulls sometimes! I went to the flea market by the beach this weekend, and I saw groups of them.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the park in Girona called “La Devesa Park.” It was a really big park with wide paths. Since it’s still a bit chilly, many of the trees had no leaves, but there were a ton of them. They had spaces and plots for flowers that will be growing later in the spring.
