We also went to the Jewish museum and visited the Jewish quarter of Girona to learn more about the history because the city works hard to preserve this heritage even though there is no active Jewish population today. We also met players from Girona’s soccer team! We were on our way back to the train station when we saw a long line and asked a random kid what was going on. We ended up getting a picture with them and signatures for free!
On the way back from Girona, our train lost electricity, so we were delayed an hour because the lights went out and the train stopped. It happened when we were only 10 minutes away from the Barcelona station. Eventually, they had officers direct us out of the train so that we could commute the rest of the way back.
