I am a Peace Corps Volunteer living and working in Kazungula, Botswana. I have committed to volunteer for two years supporting community projects focused on health and wellness, including efforts that encourage healthy lifestyles, education, and access to resources. Every day is a chance to learn something new as I live alongside the community, sharing their language, food, culture, and customs and being welcomed into daily life.
I believe we are all citizens of the world, connected by our shared hopes and experiences. I have already lived in three other countries and have many friends from around the globe. These experiences have shown me how much we have in common and how much we can learn from one another so that everyone can work toward a better future.
I am excited to share my journey in Botswana with you and to show what life is like in my community.
