I have been listening to music by Rosalía, a famous Spanish artist who mixes traditional flamenco with modern pop and electronic. I enjoy it because it sounds so different from other music!
On Thursday, my friends and I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner celebration. We rented out a space that had lots of tables and chairs and a kitchen. We each brought a traditional Thanksgiving dish. I brought roasted carrots and bread! We all sat at long tables and enjoyed the food while we talked about what we missed most about the United States.
This week, I read an article titled "Integrated Content and Language Instruction" by Arieh Sherris. The article talks about the advantages of learning languages through other subjects, such as math, science and history. It explains that students can understand both the content of a class and a language better when they learn them together.
This week, I played card games, like war, golf, kemps and spoons, with my friends! We like to have a game night once a month.
Since we have had so much rain this week, I saw a few rainbows. I even saw a double rainbow!
