This week, I tried and learned about foods in Germany that I cannot wait to tell you all about! Germany has many yummy foods.
Germany has many foods and one of its most popular is sausages. A famous sausage is called a bratwurst. This week, I tried bratwursts with potatoes which were very tasty! Germans like to eat their bratwurst with mustard, just like Americans eat hot dogs.
Germans also love pretzels, which they call brezels. I had a brezel, and it was soft, warm, and a little salty. It was a perfect snack for after school!
Germany has really big sandwiches called döner. I had döner with chicken, vegetables, and bread.
I was excited to try new foods in Germany! When I first tried German food, it reminded me a lot of foods that we have in the U.S.
The döner sandwich was fun to eat and tasted good! The bratwurst sausage reminded me of hot dogs, and the pretzel brought a smile to my face on a cold winter day in Germany.
