A Vegetarian Living in Denmark

You can also buy food from local stores or cafeterias. One popular food to buy from the store is a pølsehorn, which is basically a hot dog inside of a bread bun!

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

Denmark is a very old country (almost 650 years old). This means that a lot of the traditional Danish food are made from local ingredients, because that is all the Danish people had access to before trains and easy transportation between countries was available. There is a long history of Danes raising pigs for pork and vegetables that can survive cold temperatures.
