What was the best meal this week?:

I went traveling over the christmas holiday and ate something in Austria called döner, which is a sandwich which contains lettuce, vegetables, and a special type of chicken called kebab. It is delicious, and I couldn't stop eating it! I had döner (also called kebab in other countries) in Austria, Italy and France.

What music did I listen to this week?:

Lots of countries around the world listen to music from the United States. Almost every shop or restaurant I have been since the beginning of December has been playing American Christmas music. Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I have been playing a lot of Christmas music!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

In Denmark, they have something that is very important to their culture called hygge (pronounced HUE-ga). It directly translates to "cozy", but it basically means that feeling you get when you are home with your family or friends and you are all snuggled up on the couch, drinking hot cocoa. It's the feeling of quality time with the people who love you and being cozy inside while the cold Danish winds are blowing outside.

In the spirit of hygge, they have something here called a board game cafe where you can go with your friends to drink cocoa and play board games. These cafes have a lot of candles and comfy chairs! So this week, I had the most fun going to the board game cafe with my friends and playing games like Life, Clue, and Chutes and Ladders.

What did I read this week?:

I love to read fantasy books like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Eragon.
