The furthest I have gone from my apartment is the 20 minute walk to the grocery store; however, I am still thankful for this small freedom.
Other than the 9000 mile flight from the United States to Jordan, the furthest I have traveled on this journey was when I went to Wadi Rum (400 miles round-trip from Amman). My classmates and I camped there, had traditional Jordanian food and got to see the stars.
Since Jordan has made driving without a certain permit illegal, all people in Jordan must walk to their destinations.
The balcony is my favorite place in my apartment. We are on the third floor, so we get a good view of the streets below and the buildings across from us.
There's just a few more weeks until the next lockdown update! Hopefully the lockdown will end soon, so I am able to travel around the Middle East.
