This week, I will be traveling all the way to Egypt to see the Great Pyramids of Giza.
It has been a lifelong dream of mine to see them in person!
Egypt will be the farthest place I have ever traveled. From California, it is about 7,600 miles away. That is about a 17–21 hour plane ride! That is almost the same as driving across the United States more than twice!
I walked almost everywhere and used the city bus when I needed to go farther. Many people in Rome use public transportation instead of driving cars.
The most interesting place I visited was the RAI Radio station. We spoke with a radio host and watched a live broadcast happen in real time. It was exciting to see how radio shows are made behind the scenes.
