I took a short trip to Campo Grande by bus, which is about 140 miles away. I traveled on a nice, air conditioned bus, and the trip only took about 4 hours one way. For traveling in Brazil, this is actually quite close!
To come from Tennessee to Dourados, Brasil, I traveled about 5,000 miles! I've taken planes, taxis, and more planes to get here, and the journey is well worth the time it takes to travel so far.
This week, I mostly got around by walking and using public transportation. I used taxis a few times as well for destinations that were more difficult to reach.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the local farmer's market. As opposed to a normal farmer's market, our neighborhood market is mainly open in the evening, has lots of food options, and some great live music options!
A holiday break is quickly approaching, so I'm saving up and making more travel plans to spend some time in nature this weekend. Stay tuned travelers!
