IISc was premiering a documentary called Wild Karnataka, which placed a spotlight on the diverse ecosystems within the state of Karnataka, the largest state in southern India, where I currently live. Hundreds of people attended the premiere and afterwards the film makers answered questions from the audience.
I have begun planning a trip to Coorg, a beautiful hilly region in Karnataka. My friend from the U.S. is visiting me in early May and we want to go hiking atop the town's green hills.
