I've been traveling in between Fray Bentos and Montevideo for some meetings. This is just under 400 miles round trip. And from July 1-7, I'll be having a little vacation in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with friends!
The farthest I've traveled is to Tandil, Argentina, to visit friends. That was a 380 mile round trip.
Mostly walking! Haha, it's easy to walk around in this small town; I love it.
The Rambla, or the promenade by el Río Uruguay, is always interesting to visit. When you're bored in Fray Bentos, just take a walk along the Rambla; you're bound to run into someone – or something. The Rambla is an important center for social gatherings, such as asados, or barbecues.
