This week I traveled a lot. The first three nights my friend and I stayed slightly outside of the city. This meant we spent about an hour each time we went in or out of Paris, which was at least once everyday. We also traveled all over the city of Paris, we didn't skip a single monument. Then, once my friend left, I stayed about 15 miles outside of the city so I would be closer to Disney Land. When it was finally time to go back home I took the train back down to the south of France.
So far on this journey I have been all over France, from the city streets of Paris and the country side of Avignon. I have also been to Budapest, Hungary for a few days. Next month I will be traveling to Geneva, Switzerland.
This week I got around by using the metro. The Parisian metro is exactly like the subway in New York. The only difference is that when they make announcements they are in French. Meaning that, if your train isn't coming, you don't know until after everyone leaves. Thankfully this only happened once. I also relied on Uber to get me to where I needed to be.
