Ciao (hello), everyone! My name is Veronica Rohlfing, and I'm going to be studying this spring in Rome, Italy. I'm from Omaha, Nebraska, which is a small city close to the center of the USA. I loved spending my summers by the lake or seeing baseball games downtown during the College World Series. For college, I moved east to Cleveland, Ohio to study political science and statistics. I'm excited to continue learning in Rome, one of the most historic cities in Europe.
Food is central to Italian culture, so I'm definitely looking forward to trying all of the authentic Italian food. I love to cook, and I think that food is such a fun way to connect with new cultures! My dad and I are big foodies, and he traveled the world in the US Navy when he was my age. His stories are a big piece of what inspired me to travel, and I hope that my stories can inspire you all to do the same! Join me on my adventure!
