Vikings in the Bay

How have people been adapting to this environment?:

A large amount of land in South Dublin was once used for agriculture, but due to increasing population growth, some parts of these rural areas have been transformed into urban areas where people could live. However, a substantial part of Dublin still remains rural due to its geography being mountainous, so only a limited number of people can live there.

As discussed in an earlier Field Note, transportation systems like the DART and the buses were created to connect the outer areas of Dublin and neighboring towns with the center. Since the Vikings arrived in 841, Dublin has expanded from an isolated fortress for ships into a major capital that is interconnected with the rest of Ireland.
