It was overcast, which was good for field work. We had some cloudy days and mostly sunny days! There was a little bit of rain overnight, but that rain will soon stop as we enter the dry season.

Mammals: African bush Elephants, lions, wild dogs, hippos, giraffes, African buffalo, leopards, hippos, cheetahs, impala, kudu, wildebeest, hyenas, zebra, warthogs, white rhinos, banded mongoose, black-backed jackal, baboons, roan antelope, honey badgers, lesser bushbaby, civet (not sure which species), spring hares, tree squirrels, Tsessebe, waterbuck, and several bats I couldn’t identify.
