She studied tourism/hotel and restaurant management in college with the goal of getting a job on a cruise ship. With a lot of hard work, she's risen in the industry and seen a lot of the world in the process!
As Wind Surf departs the Dutch/French island of St. Maarten, let's also meet the person at the helm (in command) of the ship. Captain Remi Eriksen was born in Norway, but grew up in the beautiful seaside city of Puerto Banus, Spain. He has been sailing for more than 20 years and has worked on cruise ships, expedition vessels and private yachts in nearly every part of the world. He's completed three circumnavigations of the globe, and even captained a boat up the Amazon River! On Wind Surf, he's in charge, and you'll get to meet him later in this expedition.
