I lead community bat house projects and work with younger girls (and boys!) to guide them in their own bat house and bat conservation projects, hoping to spark that sense of empowerment that I felt doing my Girl Scout project all those years ago.
What is the moral of the story? Take on challenges head-on, push through your doubts and don’t let anyone dictate what you can and can’t do!
