How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I am a boarding student so I don’t walk far. It is too far to walk home.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat in the compound and my favorite food is rice and beans with mukene (a freshwater sardine from Lake Victoria).

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We use English at school. You say hello like “Gyebale” (this translates to thank you for your work, its very very common to use this when your saying hello to someone.)

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Kigozi, Maria, Mayanja, Kalungi, Muleme and many more. (In Uganda its very common for someone to have a local name and a religious name, for example Kigozi Raphael.)

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

We have science, set, English, math and computer. My favorite is computer.

What is your homework like?:

From 7-8 pm we do revision or other work.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

Rearing my rabbits and when in school I like to play football. My favorite sport is baseball.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

My favorite famous person is Arnold Schwarzenegger.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I don’t listen to music.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I would like to be a physician.
