I walked around and explored the city for at least an hour a day, so I've traveled on foot plenty this week.
I've traveled pretty far on this journey. It was about a 12 hour flight from LA to Paris. Then I took a train from Paris down south to the city of Bordeaux which was a two hour train ride.
I mostly walk to get around, but today I took the tram to campus, which was a 25 minute ride. I didn't walk because it would have taken over an hour and it was too cold this morning.
The most interesting place I visited this week was a church called the Basilique Saint-Seurin. It had a very traditional gothic look which is definitely not what the churches back in LA look like. It was even more beautiful inside, filled with beautiful portraits.
