English is the most common language people use in the U.K., but more than 300 languages are spoken in the country.

What type of money is used here?:

The United Kingdom uses pounds sterling as the currency. There are many different denominations of coins and notes. There are coins worth 1 pence, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2. There are notes for £5, £10, £20 and £50.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water typically costs around 50 pence to £1.50 normally, depending on the brand. This is pretty similar to how it is in the U.S.

What was the best meal this week?:

This week, I tried Shepherd’s Pie. I think this is the most delicious meal I had this week.

What music did I listen to this week?:

I was listening to songs from Electric Guest and Korean bands during the day. Also, some relaxing music at night time before I sleep.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I went to multiple museums and markets. The museums here are amazing, and there are so many to explore and learn from.

I only read some textbooks for my classes, such as: International Marketing, Britain Explained
