Hi! My name is Zayan, and I am a college student at the University of Virginia. I love learning about new places and meeting new people, and I am always curious about how others live, think, and celebrate. I also like to ask lots of questions, which I will have to do in Spanish as I keep practicing and improving my language skills.
I am studying science and business, and I enjoy starting projects that help others and bring people together. One of my favorite things I have done is create a soccer program so kids of all abilities can play together, make friends, and have fun as a team.
While I am in Barcelona, I will be sharing stories about my daily life, the food I eat, the places I visit, the people I meet, and, of course, the soccer I play and watch. I am excited to explore a new city, learn more about Spanish and Catalan culture, and see how life for students there is similar to and different from life in the United States.
