Traveler Bio

Hola, ciudadanos globales! Hello, global citizens! I am from Cleveland, Tennessee, but from March to December 2025, I will live in Peru as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar and teach English to curious students like you. Are you ready to reach the world with me?

When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because I love animals. My professional plans completely changed when I turned 15 and took my first trip outside of the United States. I visited my grandparents in Ecuador and fell in love with everything there! I adored listening to the beautiful sounds of the Spanish language, trying delicious new foods, and exploring the Andes mountains—the longest mountain range in the world! I discovered that I wanted to keep traveling and learning about new ways of life. So, I decided to learn Spanish.

Learning Spanish opened up a world of new adventures for me. I studied abroad in Ecuador, conducted research in Mexico, and even competed in gymnastics in Ecuador and Colombia. I was the first girl to represent Ecuador in an international tumbling and trampoline competition, and I even won an international gold medal for power tumbling and bronze medal for double mini trampoline! Thanks to my Spanish skills, I am able to live and work in Peru.
